Curated, developed and facilitated by Linh Than, Thơ Ve Chai’s workshops embody the spirit of childlike wonder and free-flow creativity. Here, participants meet with exercises that catalyze their natural curiosity in order to explore, exchange words, and expand each other’s ideas in a continuous, never-ending flux; playing with language, images, and concepts; looking for poetry and allowing poetry to find them, or in other words, surrender to the inspirational currents coming from above and around. All poems are collaborative works shared by all, owned by no one.

With Thơ Ve Chai, we seek less to write but to practice seeing, wondering, and looking for poetry together, all the while transforming poetry from a solitary pursuit into a collective act. Exercises are constantly refreshed and developed, ranging from table-side writing, zine-making, collaborative open-mics to walking on the streets.
